Common reasons businesses call

If any of these sound familiar, a short conversation is usually enough to figure out the next step.

  • Wi-Fi that drops in certain rooms or slows down at busy times
  • A network that grew one device at a time and nobody fully understands anymore
  • Moving into a new office or adding a location
  • Replacing an aging phone system
  • Remote staff who need secure access to office systems
  • A server or key system nobody has looked at in years

How a project works

The same straightforward process applies whether it's one stubborn problem or a full installation.

  1. Start with a call or message

Describe what's going on or what you're planning. A rough description is enough to start.

  2. Review what's there

Existing equipment, cabling and coverage are reviewed on-site or remotely, so recommendations build on what you already own.

  3. Agree on a plan

You get a clear recommendation, with options and costs, before any work begins.

  4. Install, document, support

The work is completed cleanly and documented, with ongoing support available when you want it.

Business IT questions

Do you provide ongoing IT support or just projects?

Both. DCC handles one-time projects, such as a network rebuild or a phone system installation, as well as ongoing troubleshooting and support for businesses that want a dependable point of contact.

Can you work with our current internet provider and equipment?

Usually, yes. The work starts with a review of what's already installed. Equipment that's still serviceable is kept; anything causing problems or past its useful life is flagged, with options to replace it.

Can we keep our phone number if we switch to VoIP?

In most cases, yes. Business phone numbers can usually be ported to a new VoIP provider, and the cutover can be planned to keep downtime to a minimum.

Do you help with network security?

Yes. Typical security work includes firewall configuration, separating devices onto their own network segments, secure remote access for staff, and security reviews with written findings and recommended fixes.

Do you support businesses outside Central PA?

Yes. On-site work covers Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry and York counties, and remote consulting and support are available nationwide.

Have a project in mind or a system that needs attention?

Tell DCC what's going on. A short description is enough to start the conversation.
